The 2006 Bay Area Super Saturday Recertification Event will be held Saturday, August 5 starting at 9:00am. It will be held at the Gilruth Center at Johnson Space Center in Clear Lake.
STSR has limited the instructors this year, but we are fortunate to have Raymond Lalgee as Lead Inbstructor with Michelle Maloney to assist. Raymond and Michelle are both State Instructors; Raymond is the former State Director of Instruction. (Carlos Clark was going to instruct but has had to bow out.)
Lunch will be provided by El Mediterraneo. We will have a guest speaker from the Houston Dynamo. Soccer Time will have a display of referee equipment available for browsing amd purchasing. There will be door prizes.
The cost for all this is the standard clinic fee of $25. (BASRA will cover the cost for its current members.)
STSR is trying something new for 2007 recertification clinics; each clinic will be grade-specific, that is, there will be separate clinics for Grade 7, 8, and 9. However, permission has been given to open Super Saturday to all three grades. All Referees will be given an Instruction Results form; Grade 7 Referees will need to attend a fitness test at a later date.
The 2005 Super Saturday was a great success and we expect more of the same this time! If you weren't there last year, here's what you missed.
