The Bay Area Super Saturday Recertification Event was a great success! Forty-five referees attended to complete their recertification training requirement in style; all of them passed the test. We also had several guests attend to take in the sessions, hear our Guest Speaker, and enjoy the lunch and the company.

Raymond got things started by discussing the 2005-2006 changes to the Laws. | ||

| And lunch was served. Well, provided buffet style from Mediterraneo Market and Café. |  |

Everyone seemed to enjoy it, and some went back for seconds... and thirds. | ||

Soccer Time's Edith Moorhead set up a display of referee equipment. She also handed out 10% discount cards for any purchase at the store (except starter kits) for the next year. | ||
| After lunch, Bobby Yates and Edith gave out door prizes including flags, whistles, shirts, bags, and chairs. |  |

Ten lucky attendees won copies of Ed and Bob Evans' book, For the Good of the Game, and got them autographed. | ||
| Ed then presented the next recertification topic on Cautions... when, why and how to give them. |  |

For the Points of Emphasis session, the referees broke up into small groups to discuss various flim clips. They then became the instructors and presented their analyses to the class. | ||
